Shepherds Rest Anatolians Shepherds Rest Anatolians and Oberhasli Goats

Boers

Our Boer venture started with the Walker children wanting to do meat goat projects for the county fair. Except for our 100% Boer buck (link here to buck page), the rest of our Boers are actually Boer-dairy goat crosses, meaning mostly Boer with a little Diary goat (mainly Alpine, but also Oberhasli) bred in to assist in faster growth of the kids for market. This year, 2009, we kidded mostly females!
